A man who has spent six years with severely swollen 'elephant legs' is finally receiving help. Gerald Coronado, 21, suffered swelling in his right calf in 2012 and underwent several operations in Cebu, Philippines. But the elephantiasis, also know as lymphatic filariasis, continued to return, leaving Gerald unable to walk. With mounting debts from medical bills, the family were unable to continue funding the lad's treatment and he was left to endure his ballooning limbs.brBut earlier this month several well-wishers clubbed together to send Gerald to the doctors - who are now treating his rare condition.
