<p>Several law enforcement agencies responded to reports of an active shooter in a residential area of Panama City, Florida, on May 22.</p><p>Among those responding were the Bay County Sheriff’s Office and Walton County Sheriff’s Office</a> (WCSO).</p><p>The WCSO confirmed the incident was connected to a suspicious death in Santa Rosa Beach. A body had been found in a home on White Heron Drive at around 10am, the WCSO said.</p><p>The WCSO’s SWAT team was also called in to assist, according to WEAR</a>.</p><p>The Panama City News Herald (PCNH) reported that a man was holed up in an apartment, but this is yet to be confirmed.
