Carlos was determined to make his proposal to girlfriend Brittni one to remember.<br /><br />To do so, he staged an elaborate prank, enlisting the help of Brittni's whole family and even the police.<br /><br />J Danielle, the cousin to Brittni, decided to film the proposal when Carlos told her he was going to involve the local police department. <br /><br />In the clip, filmed earlier this week by Brittni's cousin J Danielle in Lafayette, Louisiana, Carlos is being detained inside the police car while a cop is telling Brittni and her party of friends to get back inside the hotel. And it doesn't sound like he's messing about.<br /><br />The policeman finally lets Carlos out of the police car and goes back inside the building with his girlfriend.<br /><br />After a kerfuffle, Carlos gets down on one knee and proposes. <br /><br />The risky prank nearly backfires as a stunned Brittni walks away.
