Try this traditional mango recipe at home and let us know in the comments below.<br /><br /><br />Ingredients<br />1kg grated raw mangoes<br />750 grams sugar<br />1 tbsp red chili powder<br />1 tsp turmeric<br />2 tbsp cumin seeds<br />1/4 tsp asafoetida<br />1 tsp salt<br /><br />Method of preparation:<br />In a bowl of raw, grated mangoes, add sugar and mix them well.<br />Once the mango starts releasing its juices add salt, turmeric, asafoetida, red chili powder, and cumin seeds. Give them all a mix.<br />Transfer the mixture to a wok and keep stirring it.<br />After sometime lower the flame and check the consistency of the sugar.<br />Once you get the desired consistency, switch off the flame and store it in a bottle.
