A group of fishermen caught a giant oarfish off the coast of Vietnam on May 22.<br /><br />In the video, three fishermen are seen trying to hold the oarfish, which was about 3.9 meters long (12.79 feet). A fourth fisherman runs up to join them in order to completely hold the oarfish up.<br /><br />This is the first time these fishermen have caught an oarfish. It may have accidentally entered one of their nets.<br /><br />The oarfish is “rarely seen because it lives at considerable depths,” according to National Geographic.
