미 법원, "삼성전자, 애플에 5,800억원 배상" 판결<br /><br /> A U.S. court ordered Samsung Electronics to pay a total of 5-hundred-39 million dollars to Apple in compensation for design patent infringement.<br /> A California court made the ruling Thursday, some seven years after the patent battle between the two giants broke out.<br />Apple sued Samsung for "slavishly" copying its smartphone and tablet technology in 2011, and had originally demanded one billion dollars in compensation.<br />With the latest ruling, the Korean tech titan will have to pay around 1-hundred-40 million dollars, as Samsung had previously paid 3-hundred-99 million for some of the patents included in the case.<br />While Apple is content with the decision... Samsung is considering all options to challenge the ruling. <br />
