Im Seonkyoung Longest.\r<br>Welcome to my cooking channel (food channel)!\r<br>In this video Im going to show you how to make easy delicious recipe of Spicy Stir Fry Shrimp, Korean style!\r<br>Traditional recipe is made with octopus or squid, but I though shrimp is more easy and friendly ingredients so I made this recipe with jumbo shrimp.\r<br>I hope you dont mind spicy food! \r<br>Thank you so much for watching my video!\r<br>Enjoy and good luck!!\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>\r<br>♥ Korean Spicy Stir-fried Shrimp with Somyeon ♥\r<br>\r<br>Ingredients\r<br>1 teaspoon gochujang\r<br>1 Tablespoon mirin\r<br>2 Tablespoons sugar\r<br>1 heaping Tablespoon Korean red flakes\r<br>1 teaspoon sesame oil\r<br>5 cloves garlic, chopped\r<br>1/4 teaspoon salt\r<br>1/4 teaspoon black pepper\r<br>12 oz. large/jumbo size shrimp\r<br>1/2 small onion, 1/2 inch thick sliced\r<br>1 small carrot, sliced\r<br>1/2 small zucchini, cut into 2 inch strips\r<br>1/4 yellow bell pepper, cut into 2 inch strips\r<br>1 jalapeno, sliced\r<br>1 red chili, sliced\r<br>3 green onion, sliced\r<br>2 cups bean sprouts\r<br>6 to 7 oz. somyeon\r<br>\r<br>Directions\r<br>Combine first 8 ingredients in a small mixing bowl, whisk; pour into shrimp, mix well and set aside.\r<br>In a large pot, bring water to boil; add salt. Blanch bean sprouts first for 5 seconds; take out from broiling water, set aside. - Do not rinse with cold water, we want bean sprouts to be warm. In same boiling water, add somyeon. Follow directions of package for cooking time. - Usually a couple minutes. Drain, rinse in cold water. Drain again completely, set aside.\r<br>Heat a large wok over high heat; add oil and swirl to coat. Add onion and carrot, season with a small pinch of salt and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add zucchini, stir-fry for 30 sec. Add shrimp mixture and stir fry for 3 minutes. Shrimp should be 3/4 cooked through, now add bell pepper, jalapeno and red chili; stir-fry for 30 seconds, add green onion and remove from heat. \r<br>On a serving plate, lay cooked somyeon first, then blanched bean sprouts and stir-fried shrimp. Sprinkle with sesame oil and seeds.
