<p>Rescuers received a bizarre call-out to save an alpaca, who became bogged in a muddy dam on a property in Londonderry, Sydney’s northwest, on Sunday, May 27.</p><p>Fire & Rescue Station officer Bill Smith said Magnum the alpaca was hauled from the mud with the help of lassos by nine men, Nine reported</a>.</p><p>Owner Brock Cauchi, who received the animal as a birthday present in 2011, said Magnum was in good health, despite being “very stressed” at the time.
