According to the Centers for Disease Control, life expectancy in the United States is declining.<br />Preliminary data for last year's mortality rate suggests that suicide and drug overdoses are mostly responsible for the decline.<br />The morality rate in the US has been declining since 2015, and if that trend continues through 2017, it will mark the first time that has happened in a century. <br />
