This is a foundational video that covers the basics on 3 different ways to do special effects cuts. Options covered are liquid latex (with cotton), scar wax, and silicone/3rd degree. Theyre all pretty simple to do but have different pros and cons. Use the info in this video to do cuts for a simple FX halloween slasher costume or build upon it to do something much bigger!\r
\r
This video only covers out-of-kit (things that require no prep, that can be fabricated on the spot) products to make FX cuts but the best result would be to have a quality pre-made prosthetic. This is mainly helpful for those just starting out in FX (which many watching my channel are), those looking for a quick and easy addition to their halloween costume, or for those who need to know how to whip out a cut quickly at a job if they dont have/something happens to their prosthetic.\r
\r
Playlist of other SFX basics: \r
\r
\r
Links to products used:\r
Liquid latex- \r
Silicone/3rd degree- \r
Ben Nye Nose & Scar Wax- \r
Scab blood- \r
Palette knives- \r
Drippy blood - \r
Alcohol Activated paints- (says its out of stock but if youre in a hurry and dont mind paying a bit more to get it fast its on amazon - )\r
\r
Other tutorials shown at the end of this video:\r
The Exorcist- \r
Revenant Inspired Bear Attack- \r
Ripped Scalp Prom Queen- \r
Jack-O-Lantern- \r
\r
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\r
\r
For more looks and extra shenanigans, follow me on other sites:\r
Instagram:\r
Twitter: \r
Facebook: \r
Snapchat: GlamNgore\r
\r
\r
**MERCH: **\r
\r
\r
Copyright Glam&Gore ©2017\r
\r
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\r
\r
\r
S O N G S :\r
Raven & Kreyn - In The Air [NCS Release]\r
• \r
• \r
\r
3rd Prototype - Together [NCS Release]\r
• \r
• \r
\r
\r
\r
Video is not sponsored, all opinions are my own whether sponsored or not.
