<p>A goose became the centre of attention after it invaded the field and crashed into a scoreboard at Detroit’s Comerica Park during the Detroit Tigers’ 6-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels on May 30.</p><p>The goose took to the field during a break from play caused by a heavy deluge of rain meaning that before play could resume, an actual wild goose chase took place.</p><p>Footage of the goose shared to social media</a> shows the bird waddling around the field before taking flight and crashing into the scoreboard.</p><p>According to Catherine Roach,</a> the woman who picked up the bird after it fell into the stands, X-rays showed the goose has no broken bones or obvious major injuries.
