U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo talked on the phone with his South Korean counterpart on Friday morning, Korean time. <br /> Pompeo shared with Minister Kang Kyung-wha the results and details of the recent summit-prep talks between Pyongyang and Washington held in various places, including the border village of Panmunjom.<br />Pompeo also told Kang the action plans the U.S. seeks to take in the future. <br />The two once again reaffirmed Seoul and Washington's close cooperation and promised to continue this momentum for dialogue to realize the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and to settle a permanent peace in the region. <br />
