Indiana Fire Department Shares Compilation of Careless Drivers After Second Head-On Collision in a Month

<p>A fire department in Indianapolis has shared dashcam footage of close encounters its firefighters have had with road users who “are not paying attention” after a second fire engine was involved in a head-on collision in less than a month.</a></p><p>A clip shared to the Wayne Township Fire Department Facebook page shows a number of collisions and close encounters firefighters have had to deal with between 2013 and 2018.</p><p>The footage was posted after a fire engine was involved in a head-on crash on May 30. Four firefighters were responding to a medical call when the driver of a car traveling the opposite direction drove over the center lines and hit the engine straight on.</a></p><p>The clip, which includes footage of the May 30 collision, had earned over 24,000 views at the time of writing.
