Adorable pooch Bentley made a rags to riches transition - after vets spent five HOURS shaving off two KILOGRAMS of matted, petrol-coated fur.<br /><br />Cruel owners dumped white Shih Tzu Bentley with fur that was smelly, long, tangled, and coated in oil and chemicals.<br /><br />The little creature was so frightened he still flinches to be touched - and won't even allow his owner to remove his jacket after it was put on under sedation.<br /><br />Rescue centre owner Kathy Trout said Bentley's neglected state reduced her to tears, adding "he couldn't even drink water because his own fur would poison him".<br /><br />But now the three-year-old matted mutt has had a new lease of life playing with other pooches and slowly regaining trust in humans after he was abandoned in an abused and sorry state.<br /><br />Read more at SWNS.com
