A man who lost his voice for several months after he got throat cancer has defied odds - to become a TOWN CRIER.<br />Clive O'Shaughnessy was told he would never be able to return to the ceremonial role but has not only beaten cancer and regained his voice - but is now competing in international town crying competitions.<br />This time last year he had no voice, couldn't ever whisper, and had to communicate via sign language but Clive, of Millbrook, Cornwall, is now back to his crying best.
