In unbelievable scenes, the balloon has a close shave with cars as it crosses both lanes and tries to aim for a neighbouring field. <br />Thankfully, no lorries or large vehicles were on the road at the time and oncoming traffic slowed down to allow the balloon to land safely. <br />Paul Ellis captured the moment on his car's dashboard camera as the huge red balloon came into view and ended up hovering above Marine Drive in Southport, Merseys. <br />He uploaded the 47-second clip to YouTube on Saturday, where it's since had over 4,000 views.
