This is the shocking moment a hit and run driver ploughs into a scooter rider crossing a zebra crossing.<br /><br />The 22-year-old man was rushed to hospital after he was left twitching in agony on the floor as the Ford Focus driver shamelessly reverses away.<br /><br />CCTV footage shows him smashing into the windscreen and being carried a few metres before the light green car stops at lunchtime on Saturday.<br /><br />The hit and run victim is thrown off the bonnet and lands in a heap on the floor as the vehicle stops suddenly.
