A Brit who invented IMDB in his bedroom has been given an honorary degree - and gave an acceptance speech in movie quotes.<br /><br />Col Needham came up with the idea for the Internet Movie Database in his two bed semi in Bristol - which saw him became one of the most powerful men in Hollywood.<br /><br />It started as a hobby for Col and has since been bought by Amazon and used by 250 million people a month.<br /><br />He has been given an honorary doctorate by Bristol University - and gave his acceptance speech in movie quotes.
