Police in Germany have shot an Austrian man said to be "rampaging" around Berlin Cathedral with a knife.<br /> The 53-year-old, who is yet to identified, was shot in the leg on Sunday.<br />A police officer was reported to have been injured.<br />German authorities immediately ruled out any terrorist motive and witnesses said he was in a confused state and was hurling verbal insults. <br />
