<p>At least 25 people were reported killed when Guatemala’s Fuego volcano erupted on June 3, sending plumes of rock, gas, and ash over nearby villages.</p><p>The volcano is located around 40 km southwest of Guatemala City. According to CONRED</a>, the National Disaster Management Agency, the departments of Sacatepequez, Escuintla and Chimaltenango were worst affected, and around 3,100 people were displaced as a result.</p><p>As seen in this video, the mixture of rock and gases, known as pyroclastic flow, rushed at speed down the mountainside, leaving little time for people to escape.
