Staying with the run-up to the June 13th local elections.<br />The nation's top office has revealed that President Moon Jae-in will participate in early voting and cast his ballot on Friday.<br />Let's hear from the president's spokesperson.<br /><br /> "President Moon's decision to take part in early voting is to boost voter turnout, which is usually as low as 50 percent, even though it's a nationwide election."<br /><br /> He will be the first sitting president to take part in early voting since the system was introduced in 2013.<br />According to the Cheongwadae, many of President Moon's aides will also cast their ballots in advance.<br /> The spokesperson insisted, however, that the President's early voting has absolutely nothing to do with a potential visit to Singapore... to join his American and North Korean counterparts.<br />That summit is scheduled for the day before the election, June 12th. <br />
