<p>An American Airlines flight made an emergency landing in El Paso, Texas, after the plane sustained damage flying through a hail storm on Sunday night, June 3.</p><p>The flight was en route to Phoenix from San Antonio, Texas, when it ran into severe weather over New Mexico and turned south to land in El Paso.</p><p>An airline spokesman said</a> the nose, windshield panels and a cockpit side window were damaged, but the engines, including the fan blades, did not sustain any damage.</p><p>There were 130 passengers aboard the plane, along with five crew members, the spokesman said</a> .
