Large Crowd Gathers in Hong Kong for Tiananmen Vigil

<p>More than 100,000 people gathered in Hong Kong’s Victoria Park on June 4 to hold a vigil for the victims of the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre.</p><p>The protesters candles, sang songs, and called for the release of pro-democracy activists jailed in China, reported Hong Kong Free Press</a>. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called for China to release the full death toll from the brutal military crackdown on the student-led pro-democracy protest on the eve of the 29th anniversary of the massacre.
