Atlantic salmon leap up the Falls of Shin in Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands.<br /><br />Salmon, brown trout and sea trout begin their annual epic migration up the River Shin to their spawning grounds at this time of year. <br /><br />These Atlantic salmon are now under threat from an invasive species of Pacific salmon, which scientists have warned could wipe out the Atlantic salmon - an important part of the Scottish economy.<br /><br />The footage was captured on June 3.
