It defies the laws of front wheel drive, it feels in control, and doesn't feel like a gimmick with a badge slapped onto it. The 2017 and 2018 Civic type R is a car that is so easy to drive fast I could have sworn I was not in a "Honda." For this Type R review I took a different approach, and took on a brand new Acura NSX on some back roads.
