Two men were forced to jump off a scooter after it burst into flames on a road in China.<br /><br />The CCTV video shows smoke emerging from the scooter before it becomes engulfed in a fire when two men are driving along the centre lane of a busy road.<br /><br />The scooter driver jumps off immediately, while his passenger falls down with the burning vehicle and crawls away to escape.<br /><br />Police controlled the fire and sent the injured passenger to hospital.<br /><br />According to local reports, the battery exploded, causing the fire.<br /><br />The scooter did not meet official road standards, according to reports.
