Pacific Rim Uprising is the sequel to the hit action film Pacific Rim.<br />While the movie was a modest hit it has a developed a cult following.<br />Fans of the Pacific Rim franchise were surprised by the big villain twist in the movie.<br />The hero of the first film, Charlie Day, is the villain of the sequel.<br />Charlie Day's Newt had developed a twisted romance with a Kaiju brain by the name of Alice.<br />Alice lead him to be manipulated into helping the Kaiju attack. <br />
