These two boxers couldn't beat nature - and their match had to be called off following an invasion of moths.<br /><br />The two teenage Muay Thai fighters were battling it out at an outdoors boxing ring in Ubon Ratchathani, northeast Thailand on March 9 when the creatures descended on the arena. <br /><br />Thousands of moths filled the air - making it difficult for the pugilists to see each other - but the knockout blow came when they carpeted the canvas.<br /><br />The red corner eventually threw in the towel and urged the referee to postpone the match and turn off the lights in an attempt to keep the creatures away.<br /><br />Onlooker Nan Noisong said: ''It's unusual to have so many moths come onto the ring. I think they were attracted by the lights.''
