Hawaii’s fissure 8 continues to be active as it sends a lava flow into Kapoho Bay, according to media reports. <br /><br />In the video, a filmer captured the bright fissure on video while shooting from a helicopter. <br /><br />“As beautiful as it is, fissure 8 is also a deadly one,” the filmer said. “It has destroyed hundreds of houses as well as the most amazing parts of the Big Island of Hawaii, including coral reefs of Kapoho.”<br /><br />“I filmed the video from the helicopter that had no doors and I was able to feel the heat of the eruption,” the filmer added.
