This is the heart-wrenching moment a pet cat is rescued after getting stuck in a tiny gap between two houses.<br /><br />The stranded moggy was heard meowing for help all night after climbing into the tight space in Hat Yai, Thailand, on May 4.<br /><br />Neighbour Napatsin Kanyuta, 57, called for help when she woke up the next morning and the cat was still crying. <br /><br />Rescuers were filmed using a pneumatic drill to smash through her living room wall and pull the cat to safety - who emerged looking dazed and tired.<br /><br />Napatsin said: ''I heard the cat at night but went to sleep. When it was still making a noise in the morning I was curious and thought that perhaps something was not right.<br /><br />''I saw him inside the wall. He belongs to one of the people who live here. I think he could have been chasing a rat and got stuck inside.<br /><br />''I don't mind that my wall has been broken. It is better to break the wall and save the cat than leave it in there.''
