<p>Beleaguered politician Barnaby Joyce has been accused of attempting to punch a photographer who was loitering outside a church service on the morning of June 10 in Joyce’s hometown of Armidale.</p><p>Joyce filmed the ensuing verbal altercation, in which the photographer refuses to share his name or the name of his employer.</p><p>Joyce said he had been waiting “in the bushes taking photos” as Joyce exited the Church of England cathedral in Armidale. Parishioners came to Joyce’s defence.</p><p>“You’re hiding behind the tree like a rotten snake mate, leave us alone,” a churchgoer says to the photographer.
