<p>Lulabel Seitz, the 2018 valedictorian at Petaluma High School in California, was interrupted during her speech on June 2 when administrators cut her microphone. She was speaking about sexual assault, which was not approved prior to graduation.</p><p>Seitz posted a video</a> to YouTube documenting what happened during her June 2 graduation, with the first portion of the video taken by a classmate, showing the moment her microphone was cut off. Following the segment from her graduation, she chose to record the speech in it’s entirety.</p><p>According to reports</a>, students giving commencement speeches had to provide a copy to school officials prior to the ceremony.
