<p>More than 1,000 shelters at UNHCR-run camps for Rohingya refugees have been damaged by floodwater or hit by landslides since June 10, as heavy downpours signaled the start of monsoon season in Bangladesh.</p><p>The UNHCR estimates</a> that around 900,000 people are currently living in its camps at Cox’s Bazaar.</p><p>Local news reports said 12 people were killed by flooding and landslides, including two Rohingya refugees.
