The Central Florida community gathered at a memorial on June 12 to mark two years since the Pulse LGBTQ nightclub shooting that left 49 dead.

Hundreds attended the public ceremony at the memorial opened by nonprofit organisation onePulse. The space, as seen in the footage, features a wall of photos showing the world's response to the tragedy, the original Pulse sign, as well as an area for people to leave flowers or other mementos.

The current memorial stands in place of a full site that will be open in 2020 to remember one of the deadliest mass shootings in United States history.
