This family literally "upped sticks" when they wanted to move house - they had dozens of local men CARRY their hut to a new spot. <br /><br />Maricel Cabral, 30, asked for help for her brother, Mike, shift his home to the opposite side of a nearby mountain in Tayabas, Philippines, on June 8.<br /><br />She arrived with dozens of other locals who hoisted it above their shoulders on poles and carried it 50 metres to the other side of the field. <br /><br />The tradition of carrying a person's home to a new location is known as Bayanihan and it is believed to bring good luck by showing the healthy community spirit and neighbourly love. <br /><br />Maricel said: ''I can't thank everybody enough for helping to carry my brother's house. I hope they'll be there next time he needs to move.''
