The United States, Canada and Mexico will host a joint World Cup in 2026. <br /> The three North American countries beat their bidding rival Morocco by 134 votes to 65 on Wednesday at the 68th FIFA Congress.<br />The 2026 tournament will be the first time the World Cup is hosted by three countries and also the first time it will have a 48-team format, up from the current 32-team format.<br />The U.S. will host 60 games, including the final, while Canada and Mexico will each have 10 games. <br />
