President Moon congratulated the U.S. on a successful summit, calling it (quote) "a great historic achievement."<br /><br /> "The summit results helped the international community, not to mention the U.S., Japan, and South Korea, find relief from the threats of war, nuclear weapons, and long-range missiles. That alone is an extremely valuable achievement."<br /><br /> Moon and Pompeo agreed that more important than anything else is to ensure that the agreement between the U.S. and North Korean commitments are carried out quickly and completely.<br /> And as we speak, President Moon is now convening a full meeting of the National Security Council to further discuss the outcomes of the Singapore summit. <br />
