Another disappointing jobs figure,...<br />Statistics Korea says only 27 million people were employed in Korea last month, up a mere 72-thousand from the same period last year.<br /> The dip in overall employment is mainly attributed to the country's manufacturing, retail, and educational service sectors. <br />In terms of the unemployment rate,... that figure rose slightly in May to reach four percent, up zero-point-four percent on-year.<br />And the story is even worse for young Koreans,... as the youth unemployment rate hit 10-point-five percent, the highest rate since the institute began recording the figures in 1999. <br />
