Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak is adjusting to the “new reality” in Malaysia as he holds an open house at his residence in Pahang for the first time.<br /><br />“It is not a question of missing (celebrating Hari Raya at Seri Perdana). You just have to adjust to the new reality,” he said when met by reporters at his open house in Pekan.<br /><br />Usually, he added, he would hold his Pekan open house two weeks after the first day of Raya unlike on the first day like this year.<br /><br />Previously, he said, he would be busy with his obligations in Kuala Lumpur as a federal minister and later as the prime minister.
