Michael Cohen lost a bid for an immediate restraining order against Michael Avenatti for maligning him frequently in media appearances.<br />In a brief court order, US District Judge James Otero denied the restraining order because Cohen failed to show he would face immediate and irreparable injury without emergency relief from the court.<br />But Judge Otero did not reject the restraining order either. <br />
