The threat of a trade war between the U.S. and China continues... as the world's second largest economy almost immediately retaliated to the Trump administration's decision to impose tariffs on Chinese imports. <br /> China's Commerce Department says it had "no choice" but to impose tariffs on imports from the U.S. with (quote) "the same scale and intensity".<br />These would include electric cars, whiskey, soybeans and lobsters.<br />Beijing also warned that all economic and trade achievements reached by the two sides will be invalidated.<br />On Friday Washington announced that a whopping 25-percent tariff would be imposed on 50 billion U.S. dollars of Chinese imports. <br />
