We’re discounting what we’ve decided to call “Death by Origin Story”, meaning characters who died as a part of the origin story of well-known heroes. Let’s face it, Thomas and Martha Wayne and Uncle Ben were created just to die, so we can hardly call their deaths “heartbreaking.”
