Firefighting helicopters arrive on the site of Hollywood attraction blaze

++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN LOOPED++<br /><br />A brush fire was ignited at the hills just below Griffith Observatory, a popular attraction in Los Angeles, on the evening of June 19.<br /><br />The video, shared to Twitter by Adrian Escobedo, shows a firefighting helicopter tackling the fire in the hills. Escobedo was just returning from a trail walk at Griffith Park and was on the way to the observatory to see the stars when he saw the blaze.<br /><br />"We looked down the ravine and saw at the base of the mountain a fire the size of a fire pit," he told Newsflare. "In a matter of minutes it started growing rapidly."<br /><br />Griffith Observatory is known to be an attraction for tourists, who often make the trek up for a view of the famed Hollywood sign. About three to four acres of land were burned by the blaze, which was watched by a crowd of spectators as firefighters arrived on the scene. <br /><br />No structures were damaged and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
