Musa Safri, a former aide-de-camp to Najib Abdul Razak during his tenure as deputy prime minister, was named in a police report to kick-start fresh investigations into the murder of Mongolian national Altantuya Shaariibuu.<br /><br />The report was lodged by Altantuya's father Setev Shaariibuu. His lawyer Ramkarpal Singh stressed that no one was named as a suspect in the report.<br /><br />Musa was the superior officer to ex-police commandos Azilah Hadri and Sirul Azhar Umar, both of whom were convicted for Altantuya's murder.
