This is the moment a lecturer got down on one knee and proposed to his former student as she received her university diploma. <br /><br />Footage filmed on June 18 in Vinh city, Vietnam, shows Duyen Tran receiving her bachelor's degree in engineering after graduating from Vinh Universtiy. <br /><br />As she smiles and takes photos with the university dignitaries, her boyfriend and former lecturer, Dũng Nguyễn, climbs on-stage with a bouquet of flowers. <br /><br />As tender music starts to play, he gets down on one knee, causing the audience to erupt in cheers.<br /><br />Duyen said she was surprised by the proposal but was happy.
