In Colombia the Senate has postponed the vote on the bill for the special jurisdiction for peace, requested by President-elect Duque.... <br />Following the Senate's decision, current President Juan Manuel Santos called for an extraordinary session in congress to extend the debate until the Senate makes a move.<br />The jurisdiction for peace is the mechanism of transitional justice created as part of the peace agreement to judge militants linked to the country's internal conflict. <br />Our correspondent Paola Fernandez has more.
