UN Says Number of Children Displaced by Conflict at Highest Since WW2

<p>The United Nations said</a> on World Refugee Day, June 20, that there were currently 30 million children in the world displaced by conflict, more than at any other time since the Second World War.</p><p>The global number of refugee and migrant children moving alone had reached 300,000, the UN said, nearly five times the 2010 figure.</p><p>Lone children are at heightened risk of trafficking, exploitation, violence and abuse, UNICEF said.</a></p><p>This footage show migrants in places including a Libyan detention center, the Kutupalong refugee camp in Bangladesh, makeshift shelters in Syria, and displaced people in camps in Somalia.
