Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has denied seeking Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's advice on how to manage Umno when the pair met in Putrajaya earlier this month.<br /><br />“I have never asked his advice... My friends and I know how to manage our party,” he told a press conference in Kota Bharu, Kelantan, this afternoon.<br /><br />However, the Umno presidential candidate declined to elaborate on what was discussed during the closed-door meeting with Mahathir on June 7.<br /><br />Previously, another Umno presidential candidate Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah criticised Zahid for meeting Mahathir.
