Despite losing to Japan in Saransk in their opening match of the World Cup, this Colombian mother started her own dance party in a car park at midnight.<br /><br />Footage filmed on Tuesday (June 19) after the match shows Nohora Rivero dancing outside a McDonald's in the Russian city while the tune of "La pollera colora" plays from a car stereo. <br /><br />Nohora wanted everyone to dance, according to her son Dawit Demissie, who filmed the video. <br /><br />She asked a local to play it on his car stereo – and the Colombians flocked.<br /><br />"There were tons of Colombians at the McDonald's," Demissie told Newsflare.<br /><br />He added: "We travelled from the state of Maryland [in the] USA.<br /><br />"Since Colombia wasn't able to qualify for the world cup for most of my life, I promised [my mother] several years ago, if they were able to qualify again, I would take her, and so now I've had a chance to fulfil that promise!"<br /><br />Colombia lost to Japan 2-1 in their opening match of their World Cup campaign in Russia. <br /><br />They now face Poland in a crunch-match for both teams on Sunday in Kazan.
