As a result, he is shaping a fresh new direction for the Mexican house scene.<br /><br />‘Square Bounce EP’ demonstrates some seriously diverse influences, negotiating straight-up 4/4 beats on ‘Square Bounce’, Scandinavian lo-fi-esque synths on ‘Dolph’, 80s organ sequences over a grooving disco beat on ‘UFO Love’ and finally teaming up with Anttares for ‘Realm’, a fizzing dancefloor workout that injects some effervescence into the tail-end of the EP. Like a mini album, Soul Of Hex delivers something for everyone, executed with true finesse.
